Withdrawal of Rule 265 of Postal Manual Volume IV regarding yearly examination for grant of annual increment to Sorting Assistants in RMS

References have been received from Circles seeking clarification regarding yearly examination for grant of annual increment to Sorting Assistants in RMS. Rule 265 of Postal Manual Volume IV


2. The matter was examined in consultation with Mail Business Division and approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed for abrogating provisions stipulated in Rule 265 of Postal Manual Volume IV regarding yearly examination for grant of annual increment to Sorting Assistants in RMS.


3. The provisions of Postal Manual Volume IV under Rule 265 will stand Modified accordingly.


4. These orders shall come into force with immediate effect.
