Final Window for Cheque Clearance in Post Offices | Dated 14.09.2021 | Outward Cheque clearing menu (HOCTM) will be enabled on 14/09/2021 at 1100 hrs to 1300 hrs | CBS CTS Integration
This is regarding FINAL WINDOW FOR PENDING CHEQUE CLEARANCE.
Inspire of clear instructions, it is observed that many POs have not utilized the window opened for clearance of Pending Outward Cheques on 02/09/2021. We are getting several mails daily requesting for allowing lodging of Cheques. It is also seen that dates prior to 27/08/21 are also being lodged with reason that clearance scrolls were received late.
In order to clear all the pending outward Cheques which were SCANNED AND CLEARED in CTS application but not lodged in Finacle, outward Cheque clearing menu (HOCTM) will be enabled on 14/09/2021 at 1100 hrs to 1300 hrs. The following menus will be available for identified work users. It is reiterated that ONLY THOSE CHEQUES WHICH WERE LODGED IN CTS / Banks and CLEARED BUT NOT LODGED IN FINACLE to be lodged during this window.
HMCLZOH, HOCTM, HOCTV, HMICZ, HICTM, HPR
Necessary error book entries and approvals may be obtained .
The above menus will be made available for 2 Supervisor role users in HOs. Separate work class will be provided to these identified users.
CPCs are requested to kindly consolidate the PENDING request and share consolidated list. Requests from HOs/SOs directly will not be entertained.

HOs are requested to kindly lodge the cheques which were cleared in CTS application tomorrow without fail after receipt of confirmation from EOD/CPC.
It is reiterated that this will be final window for clearance of pending cheques and no more relaxation will be given.
HOCTM menu will not be enabled after 14/09/2021 .
