     DEA, MoF vide OM No. 14/01/2018-NS dated 09.09.2021 has directed to follow the statutory guidelines and the relaxation orders during COVID Period. Further, it has been directed to not to consider any such requests for relaxation in rules for opening of SCSS Account, due to COVID / Lockdown, as the banks and post offices were in emergency services and they were opened for business operations during the entire COVID period.
