The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), under Karmayogi Bharat, is organising a special session on “Seva Bhav” for government employees through the iGOT Karmayogi platform on 7 October 2026.

The session aims to strengthen the spirit of citizen-centric governance and public service delivery, in line with the objectives of Mission Karmayogi. Citizen centricity is a key theme of Mission Karmayogi, focusing on building a professional, capable and responsive civil service that places citizens at the centre of governance.
🎯 Focus of the Session
The special talk will focus on:
- Strengthening empathy and responsiveness among government employees.
- Promoting a citizen-first approach in public service.
- Instilling the ethos of “Seva Bhav” in public service delivery.
- Reinforcing a shared culture of service, empathy and citizen-centric governance.
The session will be moderated by Dr. R. Balasubramaniam, Member, NITI Aayog.
🕚 Session Timings
The session will be streamed live on the iGOT Karmayogi platform from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on 7 October 2026. Government employees from Central Ministries, Departments, States and Union Territories can participate online.
The session link will be available under the Events section of the iGOT Karmayogi platform.
🏆 Special Learning Credits
To encourage participation and recognise learner engagement, employees attending the session through the iGOT Karmayogi platform will receive special credits under the “Service Orientation” competency.
All employees and officials at different levels are encouraged to participate and make use of this learning opportunity.

The “Seva Bhav” initiative highlights the importance of putting citizens at the centre of government service delivery. The session is intended to encourage government employees to approach their responsibilities with greater empathy, responsiveness and commitment to public service.
