As per the communication dated 08 September 2026, the Data Entry Module is scheduled for nationwide roll-out on 15 September 2026. In preparation for the roll-out, a Video Conference (VC) will be conducted on 10 September 2026 (Thursday) from 10:30 AM onwards.

The VC will be hosted by CEPT, in association with nominated members from Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh Circles, which are the pilot Circles for the module.

Demonstration and Training

During the Video Conference, CEPT and the nominated members from the pilot Circles will provide a detailed demonstration of the Data Entry Module. The session is intended to familiarise concerned officers and officials with the module and provide necessary training before its nationwide implementation.

The VC will also help staff understand the functionality and workflow of the module and provide an opportunity to raise and clarify any issues or queries. An Operational Guide/SOP for the module will also be shared for ready reference.

Participation of All Circles

All Circles have been requested to ensure the participation of the concerned officers and officials in the Video Conference so that they are adequately familiarised with the new system before the nationwide roll-out.

CEPT has also been requested to share the VC link with all Circles and the Postal Directorate on 09 September 2026 and circulate the operating guide/SOP for the Data Entry Module.

The initiative is aimed at bringing greater standardisation, efficiency and systematic data management in the handling of loss and fraud cases under the Investigation and Vigilance framework of the Department of Posts.
