Department of Posts Directs Circles to Clear All Pending CCE Portal 1.0 Cases Before APT 2.0 Migration

The Department of Posts has issued an important instruction to all Postal Circles regarding the migration of the Compassionate Engagement (CCE) Portal from APT 1.0 to the new APT 2.0 platform. As per the latest communication, all pending


Compassionate Engagement cases available in the existing CCE Portal IT 1.0 must be completed before the migration process begins
Earlier, the Department had directed all Circles to dispose of Compassionate Engagement cases pending as on 31 March 2026 by 7 July 2026. The latest reminder reiterates that cases remaining pending at various stages or inboxes in APT 1.0 will not be migrated to APT 2.0.
To ensure a smooth and seamless transition, all Postal Circles have been instructed to finalize as many pending cases as possible within the stipulated timeline. This will help facilitate a single-stage migration with minimum pendency and avoid disruption in processing Compassionate Engagement cases after the launch of APT 2.0.
The Department has emphasized that this exercise should be treated as a top priority. Circle offices and all concerned authorities are expected to take immediate action to clear pending cases and complete the migration preparations within the prescribed timeframe.
This directive highlights the Department's commitment to ensuring a smooth digital transformation and efficient handling of Compassionate Engagement cases through the upgraded APT 2.0 system.
