How to Generate and Sync Daily Data in the BCP Application
BCP Application – Data Transmission Process
The Data Transmission feature in the BCP (Booking and Bagging) Application ensures that the day's booking and bagging transactions are securely transmitted to the central BCP server. Users should complete this process at the end of every working day to ensure all transaction data is uploaded successfully.

Step 1: Complete Day-End Operations
After completing all booking and bagging activities for the day, navigate to the Data Transmission section in the BCP application.
Step 2: Generate Today's File
Click the "Generate Today's File" button. The application will compile all transactions performed during the day and create a data file for transmission.
Step 3: Save the Generated File
Once the file is generated successfully, a confirmation message will appear indicating that the file has been saved in the Downloads/BCP Files folder on the system.
Step 4: Sync Data to the Server
When an internet connection is available, click the "Sync to Server" button. The generated file will be uploaded to the BCP server, ensuring that all daily transaction data is synchronized with the central system.
Important Points
- Perform data transmission only after completing the day-end process.
- Ensure that the generated file is created successfully before attempting synchronization.
- Internet connectivity is required for the Sync to Server operation.
- Daily synchronization helps maintain accurate and up-to-date transaction records in the central BCP database.
Timely generation and synchronization of daily data files are essential for smooth operations, accurate reporting, and successful integration of BCP transactions with the Department of Posts' central systems.
