The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026 for recruitment to various prestigious Group “B” and Group “C” posts in Central Government Ministries, Departments, and Organizations. Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University. Certain posts such as Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigator Grade-II require specific qualifications in Mathematics or Statistics.
Age Limit
The age limit varies according to the post:

18–30 Years
20–30 Years
18–32 Years
Age relaxation is available for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and other eligible categories as per Government rules.
Application Fee
General/OBC Candidates: ₹100
Women, SC, ST, PwBD & Ex-Servicemen: Exempted from fee payment.
Selection Process
The SSC CGL 2026 Examination will be conducted in two tiers:
Tier-I Examination
The Tier-I exam will include:

General Awareness
Quantitative Aptitude
English Comprehension
There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
Tier-II Examination
Tier-II will include:

Data Entry Speed Test
Separate papers will also be conducted for Statistics and Finance/Economics related posts.
How to Apply
Candidates can submit applications online through the SSC’s new website and mobile application. Applicants are advised to complete One-Time Registration (OTR) before filling the application form.
