Extension of Deadline for Mandatory Courses on iGOT Karmayogi Platform
The Government of India, through the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel & Training), has issued an important Office Memorandum dated 18th March 2026, regarding the extension of the last date for completion of mandatory courses and comprehensive assessment on the iGOT Karmayogi platform.
Background
Earlier, vide Office Memorandum dated 04 July 2025, it was made mandatory for:
- All Central Government employees
- Officers of All India Services
to complete at least 50% of the prescribed courses and undergo a comprehensive assessment on the iGOT Karmayogi platform. The completion status is to be recorded in the Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs).
Key Update: Deadline Extended
With the approval of the competent authority, the government has decided to extend the last date for completion of these mandatory requirements.
- Previous Deadline: 31st March 2026
- Revised Deadline: 30th April 2026
Important Instructions
- Employees must complete the mandatory courses and assessment on or before 30th April 2026.
- Alternatively, they must complete them before submitting their APAR, whichever is earlier.
- The completion status will continue to be reflected in the APAR evaluation process, making it crucial for performance appraisal.
