IPPB Introducing Self-Service Freezing of Customer Accounts via SMS
We are pleased to announce a new, convenient feature for our valued customers: the ability to freeze their accounts using a simple SMS command from their registered mobile number. This feature empowers customers to take immediate action in case of any unauthorized transactions or compromised OTPs, without the need to contact our call center or visit a banking outlet.
To freeze your account, follow these straightforward steps:
Step 1: Compose a new SMS from your registered mobile number.
Step 2: Type the following command:
FREEZE <Space> <<Account Number>>
Replace <<Account Number>> with your actual account number.
Step 3: Send the SMS to 7738062873.
