How to Update Mobile Number in DOP CSI SAP System | Steps/Procedure to Change Mobile Number in ESS (Employee Self Service) Portal of Post Office CSI SAP
SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for updating communication details Such as Mobile Number and eMail ID of an Employee in DOP (Dpeartment of Post) CSI SAP System. It will be useful for accepting Online Rule 38 Transfer Requests.

1. The mobile number and e-mail id of all Postal employees shall be updated in the employee Self-Service (ESS) Portal using their user credentials. All the employees (both departmental and GDS) upto SO level has access to ESS Portal.
Concerned HO may get the details of mobile number and e-mail id of the GDS working in BOs and update the same in the CSI SAP. The procedure for the same is furnished below:
2. Login into EP > Click on Employee Self-Service Tab > Click on “Personal
Information” as shown below
3. Then Click On Maintain Commmunication Details
4. Choose relevant “Communication Type”. Enter the details [Mobile Number, e-mail id etc.,] and submit. The information so submitted will be updated in the SAP.
5. The communication details can also be uploaded in bulk by the concerned DDO. The T-code and format to upload are given below:
