Dear Friends/Comrades,
GDS JCA at All India level is formed in the joint meeting of AIGDSU and NUGDS held at FNPO Circle Union office in Jayanagar Post Office Bangalore, Karnataka Circle on 30.08.2022 under the presidenship of SriB Shivakumar, Secretary General, FNPO, New Delhi.
The meeting unanimously elected Sri.P.U.Muraleedharan as Chairman and Sri.S.S.Mahadevaiah as Convener. Sri.S.S,.Manjunath, Ex-Circle Secretary AIPEU/NFPE, Karnataka Circle, Sri.B.V.Rao Ex-All India President, AIGDSU, Sri.B.Shivakumar, Secretary General FNPO and Sri.V.Shivaji vasi Reddy General Secretary NAPE, Group C are elected as advisors of GDS PJCA at All India level.
In the evening GDS PJCA meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sri.P.U.Muraleedaran to discuss the long pending burning problems of GDS and unimplemented recommendations of Kamalesh Chandra Committee, The GDS PJCA decided the following three phase programme of action for acceptance of charter of demands The PJCA requested to all Circle, Division and Branch Secretaries of AIGDSU and NUGDS to form Circle and Divisional level GDS PJCA within ten days. The PJCA also decided to appeal to all Federations and GDS Unions to join the main stream and participate in the programme of actions
PROGRAMME OF ACTION:
1. DHARNA from 10.00 am to 05.00 pm in front of all Circle Offices on 28.09.2022.
2. INDEFINITE HUNGER FAST in front of Dak Bhavan, New Delhi W.E-F 19.10.2022. In case of non settlement of demands THE ENTIRE G.D.S COMMUNITY WOULD GO ON AN INDEFINITE STRIKE TILL SETTLEMENT.
