Closed Post Office holiday on 02.04.2022 (Saturday) on account of Gudipadva for Operative Offices in Maharashtra State.



This is in continuation to this office letter of even number dated 13.12.2021 regarding Closed and Restricted Holidays to be observed in Central Government Offices in Maharashtra State during the year 2022.

In this regard, it is to inform that “Gudipadva” falling on 02.04.2022 (Saturday) is now declared as Closed Holiday instead of Restricted Holiday and “Janmashtami” falling on 19.08.2022 (Friday) is declared as Restricted Holiday instead of Closed Holiday for all Operative offices (Working six days a week) only under Maharashtra State.


Further it is to inform that there will be no change in holiday for Administrative Offices (working five days a week).
