Subject: POSB Linked IPPB Accounts Campaign for Counter PAs & Head Post Masters/ Sub Post Masters-reg.
Respected Madam / Sir, This is regarding a reference received from IPPB regarding detailed campaign note for POSB linkage with IPPB Accounts as the Linkage is the backbone of IPPB & DOP success which will allow digital access to department customers for all financial products.
2. The campaign is designed specifically for Head Post Masters, Sub Post Masters & Counter PAs who are dealing with customers in Post offices. The campaign will help in i. Activating POSB accounts which are inactive ii. Help in digitization of Post offices iii. Online Payment of PPF, SSY & Other DOP services iv. Engagement & felicitation of HO/SO staff. v. Digital offering for customer to enhance financial inclusion and increased sale of Post Office Products including PPF, SSA, RD & POSB accounts.
3. The lucrative R & R (Rewards and Recognition) and targets for End Users & Postmasters alongwith Circles, Regions and IPPB branches has been proposed by IPPB for this campaign.
4 . In this regard, I request you to kindly arrange to formulate strategies for the DoP field teams to focus on the campaign and direct all concerned for the following activities:-
(i) At least 1 in Sub office & 3 in Head office active counter staff who shall promote POSB linkage with IPPB Accounts.
(ii) Attaching leaflets of financial product payment process with DOP customers pass books. The leaflets/ Pamphlets will be provided by IPPB field team.
(iii) Allow IPPB team to make WhatsApp group of counter staff so that MIS can be shared to the counter staff regularly by IPPB team.
(iv) Education & training of counter staff by IPPB team regarding online payment process.
(v) Joint campaign for sourcing POSB accounts with IPPB account linkage.
