Subject: Discontinuance of Money Gram transaction from IMTS operating Post Offices,
It is informed that agreement of the Department of Posts with Money Gram International regarding International Money Transfer Service expiring on 2/5/2016 has not been renewed/extended further by the Department. It is therefore requested not to entertain any transaction after 2/5/2016, in any of our location operating the Money Gram IMTS business. Necessary instructions may be issued to all locations offering MG service accordingly. However Western Union IMTS should continue to be provided from all the WUMT Post Office Locations. This may be treated as URGENT.
