Launch of Training Course on Vigilance and PIDPI Complaints Handling in India Post

The Department of Posts, Training Division, has announced the launch of a new training course titled “Vigilance and PIDPI Complaints Handling in India Post” on the DKY/iGOT Portal.

The course has been developed by PTC Vadodara as part of the initiative to create greater awareness and promote the concept of “Vigilance as a shared responsibility” among postal officials.

Course Now Live on DKY/iGOT Portal

As per the Department of Posts communication dated 6 October 2026, the training course is now available on the DKY/iGOT Portal. Officials can access the course by searching for the course title on the portal or through the course link provided by the Department.

Key Areas Covered

The course provides comprehensive training on the complete lifecycle of a PIDPI complaint, including:

🔹 Special booking requirements at Post Offices
🔹 Secure receipt and handling of PIDPI complaints by the Designated Authority
🔹 Preliminary examination of complaints
🔹 Seeking reports from concerned authorities
🔹 Conduct of investigation
🔹 Proper processing and handling of Vigilance/PIDPI complaints

The course is intended to familiarise postal officials, Designated Authorities and vigilance functionaries with the prescribed procedures for effectively handling PIDPI complaints.

Officials Encouraged to Complete the Training

All concerned Circles/Units have been requested to bring the course to the notice of officials concerned and encourage them to complete the training through the DKY/iGOT Portal.

The initiative aims to strengthen awareness regarding the filing, booking, receipt and handling of Vigilance/PIDPI complaints across the Department of Posts.

Officials concerned are advised to access the course on the DKY/iGOT Portal and complete the training to enhance their awareness and understanding of the prescribed Vigilance and PIDPI complaint-handling procedures.
