The Government of India has clarified that the 8th Central Pay Commission (8th CPC) has not yet submitted its recommendations to the Government.

The clarification was given by Minister of State for Finance Shri Pankaj Chaudhary in response to Lok Sabha Unstarred Question No. 3456, raised by Shri Varun Chaudhry. The question was scheduled to be answered on 10 August 2026.
