Department of Posts Restructures ATM Unit: New Email IDs Issued for Faster Resolution of Banking Services
The Department of Posts has announced an operational restructuring of its ATM Unit to improve the efficiency of handling banking-related services. As part of this restructuring, the Department has designated separate email IDs for different categories of ATM, banking, and financial service-related issues to ensure prompt and appropriate resolution.
The Centralized Processing & Reconciliation Centre (CPRC), Chennai, has requested all stakeholders to use the newly assigned email addresses instead of the earlier common mailbox for quicker processing of requests.

1. Insta ATM Card Acknowledgements
- To be sent to the respective CPCs.
2. ATM Card Related Issues
For matters such as:
- Fresh Personalized ATM Cards
- Instant ATM Cards
- ATM card not working
- Incorrect charges deducted
- Other ATM card-related requests

Important Advisory
The Department has advised all offices that if their existing email groups still include postatm@indiapost.gov.in, they should remove this email ID from future communications and instead include the relevant team-specific email address as per the subject matter.
Officials have also been requested to forward all future emails directly to the appropriate mailbox to facilitate quicker resolution and better service delivery.
