Department of Posts to Conduct Final Online UAT for GDS Compassionate Engagement (CCE) Portal under APT 2.0
The Department of Posts has announced the final round of Online User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the GDS Compassionate Engagement (CCE) Portal under APT 2.0. The exercise is scheduled to be conducted from 15 July to 17 July 2026 and will be carried out online by nominated users from the participating Postal Circles.

UAT Schedule
The final UAT will be held as per the following schedule:
- Module: GDS Compassionate Engagement (CCE) Portal – APT 2.0
- Duration: 15 July 2026 to 17 July 2026
- Time: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Venue: Circle WCTC (Work Centre Training Centre) only
The Department has stated that the detailed day-wise testing activities and modules will be shared separately by CEPT.
Participating Postal Circles
The following four Postal Circles will participate in the final UAT:
- Kerala
- Karnataka
- Tamil Nadu
- Andhra Pradesh
Each participating Circle has been instructed to nominate the required officers and officials for conducting the testing.
Nomination of Officials
The Department has prescribed the following nominations from each participating Circle:
- One AD/ASP as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) at the Circle Office.
- One Office Assistant (OA) from each of three selected Divisions, including one RMS Division.
- One AD/ASP from a Regional Office for testing the RO AD Module and DPS Module.
As far as possible, officials who participated in the earlier round of UAT should be nominated. However, if they are unavailable, suitable officers having adequate knowledge of GDS Compassionate Engagement rules and procedures may be nominated.
Responsibilities During UAT
To ensure successful testing, the Department has assigned specific responsibilities to the participating Circles and CEPT, including:
- Identification of participating Divisions.
- Submission of nominated officials' details to CEPT and the Directorate by 9 July 2026.
- Sharing of SOP, UAT URL, user credentials, test cases and observation sheets by CEPT.
- Completion of all allotted end-to-end test cases by nominated users.
- Submission of suggestions, observations and issues after testing.
- Consolidation of Circle-wise test results and forwarding them to CEPT for issue resolution.
Towards Early Rollout of the CCE Portal
The Department emphasized that the successful completion of this final UAT is an important milestone for the early rollout of the GDS Compassionate Engagement (CCE) Portal under APT 2.0. The portal is expected to streamline the processing of compassionate engagement cases for Gramin Dak Sevaks through a modern digital platform.
All participating Circles have been requested to extend full cooperation to ensure the successful completion of the testing exercise.
