Department of Posts Updates Annual Sports Calendar for 2026–27

The Department of Posts has released an updated Annual Sports Calendar (Tentative) for the year 2026–27. The revised schedule has been issued by the Welfare & Sports Division, Dak Bhawan, New Delhi, based on inputs received from various Postal Circles. The calendar outlines the tentative schedule and host circles for major postal sports events to be organized across the country during 2026–27.

Final Dates to be Communicated

The Department has requested all concerned Postal Circles to finalize the dates for their respective events and communicate the confirmed schedule to the Directorate by 12 July 2026.

Promoting Sports and Employee Welfare

The Annual Sports Calendar plays an important role in encouraging sportsmanship, physical fitness, and camaraderie among postal employees across India. These championships provide employees with an opportunity to compete at the national level while representing their respective Postal Circles.

The updated calendar has been approved by the competent authority and circulated to all Postal Circles, Postal Training Centres, RAKNPA, CEPT Mysuru, and other concerned offices for necessary action and wider dissemination.
