Department of Posts Issues Transfer Orders for Postal Service Group ‘B’ Officers
The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has issued an office order dated 4 June 2026 approving the transfer and posting of three Postal Service Group ‘B’ officers with immediate effect.

As per the order, Shri M. Bhumanna has been transferred from Telangana Circle to Gujarat Circle in the interest of service. Shri D. R. Narsimha Rao, presently serving in Himachal Pradesh Circle, has been transferred to Maharashtra Circle on his own request. Similarly, Shri Prabhat Goyal has been moved from Haryana Circle to Punjab Circle in the interest of service.
The Personnel Division has directed that charge reports be furnished to all concerned authorities in due course. The order has been communicated to the concerned Circles, senior officers, and administrative units for necessary action.
These transfers are part of the Department's ongoing efforts to ensure effective administration, optimal deployment of officers, and strengthening of postal services across various Circles in the country.
