The Eighth Central Pay Commission has officially announced its visit to the Union Territory of Ladakh on 8 June 2026 (Monday) to interact with stakeholders, government organizations, unions, and associations regarding matters related to the implementation and recommendations of the upcoming pay commission.

The notice was issued vide No. 35/5/2026-VST/8CPC dated 01 May 2026 by the Government of India.

  1. Submit their memorandum through the official 8th CPC website.

  2. Obtain the unique Memorandum ID generated after submission.

  3. Submit appointment request along with the Memo ID before 16 May 2026.

Venue and Meeting Schedule

The Commission stated that the detailed venue information and meeting schedule for interactions at Leh will be communicated separately to the concerned stakeholders after scrutiny of requests received.

The notice also clarified that the Commission will hold similar meetings in other States and Union Territories in due course.
