DREAM APP Version 1.0.25 Released for PAN India MDM Devices

The Department of Posts has announced the release of DREAM APP Version 1.0.25 for all PAN India MDM devices. The rollout will be managed by IPPB, which will push the latest version to all devices over the next 48 hours.

This update introduces several critical enhancements and fixes to improve performance, data accuracy, and operational efficiency across core postal and PLI functionalities.

Key Enhancements and Fixes in DREAM Version 1.0.25

  1. PLI Agent Code Capture – Added feature for capturing PLI agent code during proposal indexing for improved traceability.

  2. PLI Passing Channel Type – Enhanced indexing process to capture channel type for PLI proposals.

  3. Office Code Null Issue Fixed – Resolved issue of missing office code during PLI proposal indexing.

  4. Server Error Resolution – Fixed server-side error occurring during new PLI proposal submission.

  5. Transaction Time Validation – Implemented 10-minute validation check for PLI update transactions.

  6. DSS DQR Modifications – Enhanced refund data handling through improved DQR module.

  7. Registered VAS Delivery Alert – Added pop-up message: “To be delivered to addressee only” for registered VAS articles to ensure correct delivery.

  8. Day Definite Delivery Enhancements – Improved functionalities for day definite delivery tracking and execution.

  9. COD Articles API Implementation – Introduced new API for COD article deposit data entry for better synchronization.

  10. International Bookings – Expanded support and functionalities for international article bookings.

  11. E-Biller Enhancements – Transaction ID and primary field now displayed on printed receipts for easy reference.

  12. COD Data Validation – Added validation for COD biller ID ‘0’ to prevent data inconsistencies.

Implementation Details

  • The rollout will be automatically pushed to all MDM devices within the next 48 hours by IPPB.

  • Field units are advised to ensure devices remain connected to the internet during this period to receive the update smoothly.

  • Users are encouraged to verify the version update post installation and report any anomalies through the standard support channel.
