The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has issued a notification inviting willingness from eligible officers/officials to work at the Centre for Excellence in Postal Technology (CEPT).

Objective
The Phase-I of APT (Advanced Postal Technology) application has been rolled out nationwide. To ensure its smooth operation, undertake O&M (Operations & Maintenance), and develop Phase-II enhancements with new functionalities, CEPT is strengthening its technology team.
A total of 100 positions are being considered for filling through this notification to support additional development and O&M activities.
Eligibility
Officers/officials from the following cadres may apply:

PS Group B
-
ASP/IP/LSG
-
PA/SA/OA/MTS/GDS
Candidates must possess knowledge and skills relevant to the required technology stack.
Location
CEPT currently operates from:
-
Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Mumbai, and Patna.
In deserving cases, candidates with the requisite technical knowledge may be considered for working from their current office location, subject to infrastructure availability.
Appointment & Posting

Selected officials must report to CEPT before 30 September 2025.

Postings will be either on the CEPT establishment or on an attachment basis.

Officials posted on establishment will draw pay applicable to the CEPT unit, subject to vacancy availability.
