Dhai Akhar Letter Writing Campaign 2025-26
The Department of Posts, India, through the Karnataka Postal Circle, has invited citizens of Karnataka to participate in the National Level Dhai Akhar Letter Writing Campaign for the financial year 2025-2026. Schools across the state have been requested to encourage students to take part in this prestigious initiative, which aims to promote the art of letter writing and creative expression.

Guidelines for Participation

Word Limit:

Envelope Category: Maximum 1000 words (A4 size plain paper)

Inland Letter Card Category: Maximum 500 words

Handwritten letters only will be accepted.

Permitted Stationery: Embossed envelope/affixed stamped envelope or Inland Letter Card (ILC).

All entries should be superscribed with “Entry for Dhai Akhar 2025-26” and posted in the separate box provided at Post Offices or handed over to the Postmaster for onward submission to the concerned Divisional Office.

Proof of Age: A self-declaration such as “I certify that I am Below/Above the age of 18 as on 01/01/2025” must be included in the letter. For winning entries, age and ID will be verified.
Evaluation and Results

The top three letters in each category at the Circle level will be shortlisted.

Results will be announced by 23rd January 2026 and published on karnatakapost.gov.in.

Circle-level winning letters will be forwarded for National-level evaluation.

No individual correspondence will be made with participants.

1st Prize: ₹25,000/-
