As part of the ongoing Mission Karmayogi initiative, the Ministry of Railways, Department of Posts, and Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), in collaboration with the Capacity Building Commission, are set to unveil their Annual Capacity Building Plans (ACBPs). The launch event is scheduled to be graced by the esteemed presence of Hon'ble Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw at Rail Bhawan on 22.02.2024.
These ACBPs have been meticulously crafted to address competency gaps among the staff working within these departments, aligning with the overarching goal of enhancing workforce efficiency and productivity.
The tentative agenda for the launch program is outlined as follows:
Presentation of ACBPs: The event will commence with a comprehensive presentation of the Annual Capacity Building Plans for Railways, Posts, Telecommunications, and MeitY by Sh. Praveen Pardeshi, Member Admin, Capacity Building Commission.
Interactive Session: Hon'ble Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw will engage in an interactive session with exemplary Karmayogis from various sectors, including Railways, Posts, VLEs associated with MeitY's CSC behavioral training, and BSNL employees undergoing behavioral training under the Department of Telecommunications.
Launch of ACBPs: A momentous occasion, marking the official launch of the Annual Capacity Building Plans.
Comments on Implementing CBP: Distinguished leaders including the Chairperson of Railway Board, Secretary of Department of Telecommunications, Secretary of Ministry of Electronics and IT, and Secretary of Department of Posts will provide insightful commentary on the implementation of Capacity Building Plans.
Address by Hon'ble Minister: Hon'ble Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw will deliver an address emphasizing the significance of Capacity Building initiatives in fostering organizational growth and development.
To ensure comprehensive participation, specific instructions have been issued to the concerned authorities. Circles of Odisha, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand have been tasked with facilitating the virtual interaction of nominated Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDSs) with the Hon'ble Minister. Additionally, senior officers across various directorates are urged to join the one-way virtual link to partake in the proceedings.
The launch program, scheduled for 1500 hrs on 22.02.2024, will be broadcasted via a high-capacity virtual link created by the National e-Governance Division, Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India. All departmental officials and Gramin Dak Sevaks are encouraged to register for the webinar, ensuring representation from every corner of the organization.
This initiative, bearing the approval of the competent authority, underscores the government's unwavering commitment to nurturing a skilled and empowered workforce capable of meeting the evolving challenges of the digital era.
