Pursuant to the decision vide Department of Posts No.X-7/15/2021-SPN-11 dated 12th July, 2022 that the cadre of Inspector Posts and Assistant Superintendents of Posts shall henceforth be managed at Directorate level, the promotion to ASP cadre has come to a standstill.
This Association had raised this issue as Agenda item No.02 in the periodical meeting we were assured that the DPC for promotion to ASP cadre will be completed by the end of February, 2023. In this connection Minutes of the Periodical Meeting issued vide SR Section No.SR02/1/2022-SR-DOP dated 27-01-2023 may kindly be referred to.
DPC for promotion to ASP cadre for the vacancy year-2022 is yet to be convened at Directorate level resulting inordinate delay in promotion.
Therefore, this Association would like to urge for convening of regular DPC for promotion to the cadre of Assistant Superintendent of Posts for the vacancy year-2022 without any further delay.
