Applications are invited in the enclosed Proforma for posting as Assistant Director (PS Group B), Assistant Superintendent of Posts, Inspector Posts and Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant in Technologv Division of Postal Diretorate to carry out various activities for processing and implementation of India Post Technology Project 2.0. (IT Project 2.0, DOP IT Project 2.0, Post Office IT Project 2.0)
2. Role and responsibilities of the posts is as under -
a) Preparation of Functional requirement documentation, Training, Program Management.
b) IT Tender Management including preparation, floating, evaluation and vendor selection
c) IT Contract Managernent including security of deliverables, bills and release of payments
d) Hiring & Management of IT Resources
e) Procurement and management of IT Hardware & Software
f) Coordination with various Committeas, ministries, IPPB, CEPT. Circles & other stake holders
g) Research in innovation for new technologies.
3). Required qualification for posting above mentioned vertical is as under -
a) B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / Diploma / Certification in Computer Appfication / Projert Management / IT management / Contract Management or equivalent:
b) Experience of IT Project 1.0 in design / development / implementation
c) Good working knowledge of MS Exce1 and Power Point Presentation.
