The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has issued an official communication regarding the election of office bearers of the All India Postal Employees Union Group C (AIPEU Group C) for the period 2026–2028.

According to the order issued by the Staff Relations (SR) Section, Dak Bhawan, New Delhi, the union elected its office bearers during its 34th All India Conference held from 26 to 28 February 2026 at Digha, West Bengal.

Tenure of the Elected Body
As per the Department of Posts communication, the term of the elected body will be two years with effect from 28 February 2026, the date of election.
The association is required to conduct fresh elections in accordance with the applicable rules. If fresh elections are not held within the stipulated period, the facilities granted to the association will automatically stand withdrawn upon expiry of the prescribed period.
