DeenDayal SPARSH Yojana 2026-27: ₹6,000 Annual Philately Scholarship for Students
The Department of Posts has announced the DeenDayal SPARSH Yojana 2026-27, a philately scholarship scheme designed to encourage school students to develop an interest in stamps and philately as a hobby. The scheme is open to students studying in Classes VI to IX.

The scholarship provides ₹6,000 per year to selected students.
Eligibility Conditions
Students applying for the scholarship must meet the following conditions:
- The candidate should be a student of Class VI to IX in a recognised school in India.
- The concerned school should have a Philately Club, and the candidate should be a member of the club.
- If the school does not have a Philately Club, a student having their own Philately Deposit Account may also be considered.
- The candidate should have a good academic record.
- At the time of selection, the candidate should have secured at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade/grade point in the recent final examination.
- There is a 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
Scholarship Amount
Selected students will receive a scholarship of ₹6,000 per annum under the DeenDayal SPARSH Yojana.
The scheme aims to encourage students to explore philately while developing their knowledge, creativity and research skills.

Applications received after the prescribed last date will be rejected.

Applicants must ensure that all mandatory fields in the application form are completed. For points 8 and 9, if any field is not applicable, it should be marked “N/A” and should not be left blank. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
