CEPT Clarifies Post-Facto Leave Rule in APT Leave Management System
APT Leave Management System Update: Post-Facto Leave Applications Allowed Only Within 30 Days
The Department of Posts has clarified an important aspect of the APT Leave Management System (LMS) regarding the submission of Post-Facto Leave applications.
The issue of employees being unable to submit Post-Facto Leave applications after one month was raised with the CEPT Technical Team for clarification. In response, CEPT confirmed that the application is functioning as per the prescribed rules.
According to the clarification:
- Post-Facto Leave can be applied only within 30 days from the date of leave.
- Future Leave applications can be submitted up to 150 days in advance.
- The 30-day restriction for Post-Facto Leave is a system-controlled feature implemented in accordance with the prescribed leave rules.
All Postal Circles, Divisions, and Units are therefore advised to inform all employees to submit their Post-Facto Leave applications within the stipulated 30-day period. Failure to do so will prevent the submission of the leave application through the APT LMS Portal.
Employees are requested to complete their leave formalities promptly to avoid unnecessary inconvenience and ensure smooth processing of leave applications.
