PLI Licentiate Exam 2026: Registration, Training, Exam and Certification Process
PLI Licentiate Examination Made Mandatory for All PLI/RPLI Agents
As per the latest departmental instructions, all Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) agents are required to successfully complete the PLI Licentiate Examination. Agents who fail to complete and pass the examination by the end of June may face cancellation of their Agent ID. Therefore, all concerned agents are advised to complete the certification process without delay.
How to Complete the PLI Licentiate Course
Step 1: Download the Mobile Application
Agents must download the official PLI Licentiate app from the Google Play Store:
Step 2: Registration
Register using your Agent Code, Email ID, PAN Number, and other required details.
Step 3: Pay the Course Fee
A course fee of ₹400 must be paid online through the available payment options.
Step 4: Complete the Mandatory Training
The course consists of audio, video, and e-book learning materials. Agents are required to attend a minimum of 15 hours of training. A total period of 30 days is provided to complete the course.
Step 5: Attend the Online Examination
After completing the mandatory 15-hour training, candidates can appear for the online examination.
- Total Questions: 25
- Passing Marks: 35%
- Attempts Allowed: Unlimited
- Examination must be cleared within 30 days of course registration.
Step 6: Download and Submit Certificate
Upon successfully passing the examination, agents can download the completion certificate. A copy of the certificate should be submitted to the Divisional Office, and agents are advised to keep a PDF copy for future reference.
Complete the Certification Before the Deadline
All staff and agents under the subdivision are requested to complete the PLI Licentiate Examination within the current month. Timely completion will ensure compliance with departmental instructions and help agents continue their PLI/RPLI business activities without interruption.
Agents are advised not to wait until the last date and should complete the course and examination at the earliest.
