Department of Posts Launches e-KYC Training Course for GDS on iGOT Portal
The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has launched a new online training course titled "Introduction to e-KYC functionalities in the DREAM app for GDS". The initiative aims to equip Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Postmasters (GDS BPMs) with the knowledge and skills required to perform e-KYC operations efficiently in Branch Post Offices.

According to the Training Division's communication dated 23 June 2026, the course has been developed following SB Order No. 06/2026 issued by the Financial Services (FS) Division regarding the introduction of e-KYC operations and interoperability for POSB Accounts in Branch Post Offices.
Course Available on iGOT Portal
The training course has been made live on the iGOT Portal and can be accessed by searching:
"Introduction to e-KYC functionalities in the DREAM app for GDS"
The course provides comprehensive guidance on:
- Introduction to e-KYC in the DREAM App
- Workflow for e-KYC operations
- Operational guidelines for Branch Post Offices

The Department has requested all Heads of Circles (HoCs) to ensure wide publicity of the course and encourage all GDS Branch Postmasters (BPMs) to complete the training at the earliest.
