FNPO & NAPE-C National Conference Concludes with Resounding Success at LPU Jalandhar

FNPO and NAPE-C Successfully Conclude Historic National Conference at LPU, Jalandhar

The 13th Federal Congress of the Federation of National Postal Organisations (FNPO) and the 26th All India Conference of the National Association of Postal Employees Group-C (NAPE-C) concluded successfully at Lovely Professional University (LPU), Jalandhar, Punjab, from 5th to 9th June 2026. The five-day event brought together delegates, office bearers, and members from across the country, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the postal movement and safeguarding the interests of postal employees.

The conferences witnessed enthusiastic participation from representatives of various circles and regions, making the event one of the most significant gatherings in the history of FNPO and NAPE-C. During the proceedings, the new office bearers of FNPO and NAPE-C were unanimously elected to lead the organizations for the forthcoming term.

The Open Session was graced by several eminent personalities, including Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Hon'ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Chancellor of Lovely Professional University. Other distinguished leaders present included Shri D. Kishan Rao, Shri Sunil P. Zunjarrao, Shri P.S. Babu, Shri Rajat S. Das, Shri T.N. Rahate, and Shri B. Shivakumar. In their addresses, the dignitaries highlighted the vital role of India Post in nation-building and emphasized the need to strengthen postal services while ensuring the welfare and rights of employees.

Adding colour and cultural richness to the event, a traditional Punjabi dance performance captivated the audience and showcased Punjab's vibrant heritage. Delegates and guests highly appreciated the cultural programme, which added grandeur and warmth to the conference proceedings.

The business sessions were conducted under the chairmanship of Shri N.K. Tyagi, Working President, FNPO, and Shri Ranjan Tiwari, President, NAPE-C. Extensive deliberations were held on organizational development, employee welfare, policy matters, service conditions, and future strategies aimed at empowering postal employees and strengthening the organizations.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Sivaji Vasireddy, Secretary General of FNPO and General Secretary of NAPE-C, outlined the vision and roadmap for the future, emphasizing unity, collective action, and organizational growth. Shri Nisar Mujawar, General Secretary, NAPE-C, and Shri N.K. Tyagi, Working President, FNPO, also delivered inspiring speeches focusing on solidarity, resilience, and the continued struggle for employee welfare and professional advancement.

The success of the conference was largely attributed to the dedicated efforts of the Punjab Reception Committee and the Punjab Circle team, who ensured seamless arrangements for reception, accommodation, transportation, and overall event management. Delegates praised the exceptional hospitality, comfortable stay, and world-class facilities provided by Lovely Professional University. The state-of-the-art auditorium and excellent infrastructure of LPU added prestige and dignity to the proceedings.
