Civil List of IPoS Group ‘A’ Officers Released for Review
The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, Government of India has issued a notice regarding the circulation of the Draft Civil List of officers belonging to the Indian Postal Service (IPoS), Group ‘A’, as on 1 January 2026.

The notice, issued from Dak Bhawan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi, on 5 March 2026, states that the draft Civil List has been prepared by incorporating various updates related to officers of the service.
According to the Personnel Division of the Department of Posts, the updated list reflects several administrative changes that occurred during the period. These include superannuation of officers, repatriation from deputation to the Department, changes in place of posting, and fixation of inter-se seniority of certain officers. The information has been compiled based on records available with the Directorate.
The draft Civil List has been uploaded on the official India Post website under the section “Circulars, Rules and Latest Orders.” All officers of the Indian Postal Service (IPoS) Group ‘A’ have been requested to carefully review the information related to them.
Officers who find any discrepancy or wish to provide comments are advised to submit their inputs through the designated email before 16 March 2026.
The notice was issued by the Assistant Director General (SPG), Department of Posts, inviting feedback from officers to ensure that the final Civil List is accurate and updated.
