Initial Registration of death at DO:
The Compassionate appointment process will start from Divisional Office(DO). The Divisional Office (DO) has to login using credentials under administrative login. The login credentials for DO will be as same as being used for GDS onlineengagement by all the Divisions. :
Thereafter, DO has to initiate process by registering the death of deceased employee under Death Registration menu.
DO has to register the death. Upon entering the CSI ID, the information available would be auto populated. The details / rest of the details can be filled in manually by entering the same. In case of non- availability of CSI ID the concerned Circle can add the new employee, so that the Division can update the Death Registration. The registered death cases are to be allotted any one of the Sub Divisions either in the same Division or any other Division of any circle depending upon the requirement, for verification of death and facilitating the bereaved family of deceased official.
