Post Office enabled all types of Accounts can be opened online through India Post e Banking

This is to inform that opening of Post Office MIS, SCSS & MSSC accounts through Internet Banking (India Post ebanking) has been added from today (20th October 2023). As such, now our POSA (Post Office Savings Account) holders having Internet Banking facility can open all types of accounts except SSA, i.e. RD, TD, MIS, SCSS, PPF, KVP, NSC and MSSC, through internet banking without visiting the post office. - Thanks - Vijayan, AD (SB-I).
