Subject: Limit on expenditure for printing and supply of POSB Cheque books, ASLAAS-5 Cards and SAS Agents Receipt books for theFY 2023 - 24

Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance in OM No. 919/2022-NS dated 16.02.2023 made a budgetary provision of 30 Crore towards the expenditure to be incurred towards printing and supply of AAR Books, ASLAAS-5 cards and POSB Cheque books for the financial year 2023-2024. Keeping in view of the present liability of payment to ISP, Nashik towards supply of POSB Cheque books and other expenditure, the upper limits for expenditure are fixed as follows:

2.Circles / PAOs should ensure that no excess expenditure is incurred on this and budgetary provision is adhered strictly.

3. Further, Circles are requested to submit the liabilities on the above said expenditure for the FY 2023-24 so that DEA, MoF may be requested for revised allocation of funds under this.

4. This is issued with the approval of competent authority.
