Please find enclosed herewith SOP (Annexure A) for carrying out pre-engagement, joining and post engagement activities to be carried out by the Verifying Authorities(VA) and Engaging Authorities(EA) in connection with the Online GDS Engagement, Schedule 1 of 2023 as under :
GDS Pre-engagement stage Process:
Verification of Documents (VoD) by Verifying Authorities (VA).
GDS Joining process:
(a) Updation of candidate turned up status.
(b) Physical verification of the documents by the Engaging Authorities.
(c) Verification of the Educational Certificate/mark sheet from the website of the Education Board concerned or digilocker.
(d) Three days basic training of the selected candidates
(e) Issue of Order of Provisional Engagement
GDS Post-engagement stage Process:
(a) Verification of Educational Certificates /m,ark sheets if verification is not possible through online modes
(b) Verification of other certificates from concerned issuing authorities (caste certificate/category certificate etc.)
(c) Antecedent verification through concerned police authorities
2. CEPT will develop appropriate MIS for Directorate, Circles, and Divisions for close monitoring of progress of engagement process/activities. CEPT is also requested to configure the provisions contained in the SoP in the GDS online engagement software, if not already developed well before start of the verification process. A compliance in this resfrect may be sent.
3. All Circles will monitor activities pertaining to the GDS engagement, as contained in the SoP at Circle level and ensure to strict compliance and ensure its implementation in the letter and spirit
