PM Rojgar Mela 2022 | PM Distributed Appointment Letters to 71056 Job Aspirants in Various Ministries (Railways, Postal & Central Departments)

Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi on Tuesday distributed appointment letters to 71,056 job seekers through video conferencing under the government's Udyog Mela (Rojgar Mela 2022) programme.

Apart from Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, where the model code of conduct is in force, job aspirants were given physical recruitment order letters in 45 places across the country.

Appointment letters were distributed to 75 thousand people in October. Last June, Prime Minister Modi had directed various departments and ministries of the government to provide employment opportunities to 10 lakh people in the next one and a half years.

Double benefit:

Along with the job fairs conducted by the central government, job fairs are also being held in NDA-ruled states. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this is a double benefit to the people of the 'double engine government'.

Only a month ago, Maharashtra and Gujarat governments have issued recruitment letters to thousands of job seekers there. Just a few days ago, the Uttar Pradesh government distributed recruitment letters to the youth community. The prime minister said that job fairs were also held in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Chandigarh.

He informed that job fairs will be held in Goa on 24th November 2022 and Tripura on 28th November 2022.

'Karmayogi Initiation' Model:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday launched the 'Karmayogi Prarambh' model of conducting online 'orientation courses' for new recruits in various government departments.

Information related to Code of Conduct for Government Personnel, Ethics and Integrity in the Workplace, Human Resource Policy and other benefits and allowances will be available in this course. The Prime Minister said that this will help the new staff to know the service rules and work accordingly.
