Sub: Withdrawal of 3% fitment benefit allowed to officials/officers already granted MACPs, on their promotion to AAO-clarification thereof.

I am directed to refer to this office letter no. 3(01)/2015/PA.Adm.1/4325 to 4385 dated 26.04.2021 vide which orders issued by this office dated 07.02.13 & 16.10.19 were withdrawn.


In view of various communications/representations received from various offices/associations, the matter was once again examined by this office. It is reiterated that this office order dated 26.04.2021 is in order, accordingly the ibid order dated 26.04.2021 should be implemented invariably.


This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
