Association organized Mysore Dasara 2022 Flower Show from 26th
Septmber to 05th October 2022 at Nishad Bhag Kuppanna Park, lokaranjan mahal road, nazarbad, mysuru, karnataka,

festival is the Phalapushpa display has begun. Dussehra Flower Show 2022-23 has
been organized at Nishad Bhag Kuppanna Park. Minister ST Somasekhar inaugurated
the flower show on Monday.
Many specialties!
This time there are many
specialties in the fruit and flower show. Mainly on the occasion of the 75th
Independence Amrita Mahotsava, this time the Rashtrapati Bhavan has been grandly
constructed in a 20 feet high glass house with red, white roses and sevanti. It
beckons the viewer attraction.
Besides this, effigies have been installed and decorated with flowers in memory of late actor Puneeth Rajkumar with details of his achievements. Seeing Puneeth in flower decorations is a feast for people. Even though Appu has passed away, his memory has not faded. Thus Appu was remembered again in the flower show. Similarly, Mysore kings used to build 'Thandi Sadak' for people to rest during their rule. Its replica is built in front of the glass house, which will attract people's attention.
A 7 feet bee, a 12 feet
giraffe and many dolls related to children are decorated with flowers.. A house
is built from a 7 feet thick pepper. Sponsored by Dairy Day, Ullas Agar Battis
and a private channel, many entertainment programs are organized in the
evening.
Still, in the current year,
the department has grown more than 50 thousand flower plants and the entire
Kuppanna Park has been decorated with flowers. Many varieties of flower plants
including Marigold, French Marigold, Zinnia, Dahlia, special ornamental plants
have been brought from Pune and more information is being given about the
facilities available to the farmers in departmental stores, organic stores, and
agriculture related stores.
A large number of people are
expected to arrive
For the last two years, due to Corona, Dussehra was celebrated simply within the palace premises. Hence there was no fruit and flower show. An estimated 4 to 5 lakh people visited the fruit and flower show in 2018-19. Since Dussehra is being celebrated in a grand manner this time, more people are expected to come. A fruit and flower show has been organized by the District Horticulture Association to make it even more attractive.
