Subject: Unfilled vacancies of MTS, Postman and Mail Guard prior to April 2018.
Madam/Sir,
While reviewing the vacancy status, it is observed that some vacancies of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), Postman and Mail Guard prior to 2018 vacancy year, i.e. prior to the period 01.04.2018, could not be filled up due to various administrative reasons. Therefore, the Competent Authority has decided that unfilled vacancies of MTS, Postman and Mail Guard prior to 01st April 2018 shall be added to the vacancies of year 2022 and thereafter recruitment to these posts shall be carried out as per the provisions of recruitment rules of respective posts. However, the vacancies which are sub judice shall not be included in the recruitment process till such cases attain finality.
2. Circles are requested to ensure that these vacancies are included in the recruitment process of 2022. As notification for holding examination has already been issued by the Circles, revised vacancy status may also be issued, wherever required, for information of all
