Subject: Enhancement of Bonus Ceiling Limit of Casual Laborers - consequent on enhancement of bonus calculation ceiling of Central Government Employees
-Item No. 29/19/SC of Standing Committee Meeting.
The undersigned is directed to say that the subject mentioned item was one of the items for discussion in the Standing Committee meeting held on 07.03.2019 and 26.02.2021 under the Chairmanship of Secretary (P). In the meeting held on 26.02.2021, Additional Secretary, Department of Expenditure advised the staff side to ensure that data from all concerned Departments in this regard is received by D/o Expenditure in order to enable the Department to take an appropriate decision in the matter.
2, It is understood that data in this regard has not been sent by Ministry of Defence, Department of Posts and Ministry of Labour and Employment to the Department of Expenditure so far. In the absence of such data, Department of Expenditure is not in a position to take any action on the issue.
3; It is requested that data in this regard may kindly be sent to the Department of Expenditure expeditiously so that a decision in this regard is taken up by the Department of Exyenditure.
