Dear Friends,
Today at FNPO office, New Delhi PJCA meeting has been held. It was a well attended meeting. Most of the General Secretaries (under NFPE/FNPO) some office bearers of both Federation and General Secretaries of NUGDS union attended the meeting. Apart from them Sr. Leader like Sri. R. N. Parashar and Sri T. N. Rahate also present in the meeting and advised accordingly.
Shri B. Shiv Kumar, Secretary General FNPO presided over the meeting Shri. Janardan Majumdar, Secretary General NFPE initiated the discussion. Then entire leadership attending the meeting put forward their considered opinion. After threadbare discussion the following decision were taken.
1. There will be intensive campaign programme throughout the country against the move of the Department as well as the Govt. to corporatize Postal Departmental.
2. All Circles must form Circle PJCA.
3. From Central PJCA, one letter will be issued (Via respective Circle Union to all MPS irrespective of political party. Other Associations will be consulted with to take part to save the Department.
4. Campaign amongst members of public taking help of pensioners organisations, other mass organisations and small savings agents’ organisations.
5. 11 July - Strike notice will be issued in all big work spot with the understanding that if govt. moves further with its corporatization agenda, there will be nothing left for Postal Employees except indefinite strike for existence.
19 July - atall Circle Head Qtr. Day long dharna on our Charter of Demands.
25-26 July - 48 hrs relay hunger fast at Circle Head Qtr/Postal Directorate.
28-29 July - Demand Badge wearing programme in all offices.
1st August &onwards- Non cooperation movement/work to Rule will be observed.
1st August - Rally/Gathering/convention in Circle head Quarter involving Pensioners/Small Savings Agenda.
04th August- All India Postal Strike.
