Creation of new Davanagere Postal Division | On bifurcation from existing Chitradurga and Shivamogga Postal Divisions

Memo No. ESA/CRTN/DVN/21 dated at Bengaluru the 19.04.2022.

In pursuance of the Directorate letter No. Q-13/18/2021-PE-I-DOP- Part (1) dated 24.02.2022, the Competent authority has approved the creation of a new Postal Division named "Davanagere Postal Division" on bifurcation from existing Chitradurga and Shivamogga Postal Divisions under South Karnataka Region, Karnataka Circle. 

The new Postal Division consists of one Revenue District namely "Davanagere". The Pincode of the newly created division is 577001. The new Division will have its head quarter at Davanagere town in Davanagere District under South Karnataka Region, Karnataka Circle. The new Division will start functioning with effect from 01.05.2022.
