Celebration of Swachhta Pakhwada 16th-30th November 2021. Dated 11.11.2021
It is intimated that Department Of Posts has been allocated 2nd fortnight of November (16th-30th November 2021) to Celebrate Swachhta Pakhwada to ensure better outcome of the vision of Swachh Bharath Mission. A Swachhta Pakhwada Calendar has been planned for necessary action at your end. Ten Parameters
2. It is requested that maximum participation be ensured during the Pakhwada while adhering to all measures to contain the spread of Covid 19 like maintaining social distancing, hand sanitisation, wearing of masks, cleanliness etc as issued by Ministry of Health and Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of States/UTs from time to time in conduction of various activities as Sachhta Pakhwada Calendar
3. Postmen/women may be designated as Swachhta Doot during Pakhwada for generating awareness among customers at their doorstep. In addition to the planned activities, the Circles/Units, at their discretion may carry out other related activities which can be helpful for the success of the goal of Swachh Bharath Mission like Organizing blood donation camps, Nukkad Nataks etc
4. The role of housekeeping/cleaning staff working in our department is significant in keeping office premises clean. Therefore, it is requested that their contribution is acknowledged and 'Special Felicitation Ceremony' is organized in each office in their honor so that they are encouraged
5. General Cleaning parameters are also enclosed herewith. All the Circles/Units are requested to adhere to these parameters for general cleaning of various premises under Department of Posts. Importantly, it is requested that scrap is disposed of, old records, obsolete items etc. are weeded out as per due procedure, so that cleanliness ensured.
6. Action taken report o daily basis during Pakhwada (Proforma enclosed) along with related high resolution potographs (size shuold be between 2-2.5 MB and the format should be JPG/JPEG only), newspaper cuttings etc. should be sent by e Mail at estatesdnsbm@gmail.com. Sending related photographs of the activities is compulsory
7. In view of the above, Swachhta Pakhwada Calendar (16th-30th November 2021) as Annexure I, Proforma for sending action taken report on daily basis during Pakhwada as Annexure II are enclosed herewith for necessary action at your end. A consolidated report based on ten parameters (format enclosed as Annexure III) may be sent at the end of the Pakhwada by 05.12.2021
