The undersigned is directed to say that vide
memorandum No. 1/4/2019-NS dated 01.04.2021 (copy enclosed), Govt. of India,
Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (Budget Division) have informed that
the rate of interest on various Small
Savings Schemes (National Savings Schemes) for the first
quarter of financial
year 2021-22 (starting from 1" April,
2021 and ending on 30" June,
2021) shall remain
unchanged from those
notified for the fourth quarter
of Financial Year
2020-21 (01“ January, 2021 to
31" March, 2021). The
details are indicated below for ready
reference: -
