India Post has announced the India Post Mascot Design Contest 2026, inviting creative participants to design an official mascot that represents the values and identity of India Post.

The contest aims to create a memorable character reflecting trust, reliability, inclusivity, digital empowerment, last-mile connectivity, and the spirit of “Dak Sewa, Jan Sewa.”
What Should the Mascot Represent?
The proposed mascot should represent the core values of India Post:
- Trust
- Reliability
- Inclusivity
- Digital Empowerment
- Last-Mile Connectivity
- Dak Sewa, Jan Sewa
The mascot should be original and memorable, simple and friendly, and appealing to people of all age groups. It should also be suitable for print, digital platforms, animation, merchandise and branding, with the potential to be adapted into future 3D and animated formats.
Cash Prizes
Participants can win attractive cash prizes in two categories:
Mascot Design
- 1st Prize: ₹75,000
- 2nd Prize: ₹50,000
- 3rd Prize: ₹25,000
Mascot Name
- 1st Prize: ₹25,000
- 2nd Prize: ₹15,000
- 3rd Prize: ₹10,000
Entry Requirements
Participants are required to submit:
- An original mascot design
- One mascot name in any Indian language, along with English or Hindi transliteration
- A 150–200 word concept note explaining the idea behind the mascot and its name
Design Format
The design should meet the following specifications:
- Format: JPG / PNG / PDF
- Minimum resolution: 1920 × 1080
- Minimum: 300 DPI
- Maximum file size: 10 MB
Contest Dates
Entries are open from 15 July to 15 August 2026.
The last date to participate is 15 August 2026.
Participants can submit their entries through the MyGov portal at innovateindia.mygov.in.
This contest provides an opportunity for citizens to contribute creatively to the identity of India Post and potentially see their mascot design become a representation of one of India's oldest and most widely connected public service institutions.
