DREAM Application IPPB Fetch Failure: Important Clarification for Field Units

Important Advisory for BPMs: Avoid Previous Date IPPB Adjustment Entries in DREAM Application

Department Issues Guidance on IPPB Fetch Delay in DREAM Application

An important instruction has been circulated to all Circle SPOCs regarding the IPPB Fetch functionality in the DREAM Application. Field units, especially BPMs and counter officials, have been advised to avoid making unnecessary mismatch or adjustment entries when IPPB transaction details are not fetched on the same day.

What Is the Issue?

Sometimes, the IPPB Fetch option in the DREAM Application may fail to retrieve IPPB transaction details for the current date due to temporary synchronization or server delays.

However, officials have clarified that:

  • The pending IPPB transaction details are generally fetched automatically on the following day.
  • Therefore, there is no need to enter manual adjustment entries for the previous date immediately.

Instructions to BPMs and Field Units

All BPMs and concerned officials under Sub Offices have been advised:

  • If IPPB figures are not fetched on the same day, do not enter mismatch or adjustment entries immediately.
  • Wait until the next day and check the IPPB Fetch option once again.
  • In most cases, the pending data will automatically appear after synchronization.

Key Message Shared in APT Group

The message circulated in the Circle APT group emphasizes:

“If same-day IPPB figures are not fetched, do not enter mismatch for that day. Check again on the next day after fetching.”

This guidance is aimed at preventing unnecessary accounting mismatches and reducing incorrect adjustment entries in the system.

Benefits of Following the Advisory

Following this process will help:

  • Reduce unnecessary mismatch entries
  • Avoid accounting complications
  • Ensure accurate IPPB transaction reconciliation
  • Improve operational efficiency in BPM offices

Field officials are requested to spread awareness among all concerned staff and ensure proper compliance with the advisory.
